purepear Yes, Dynamic Components can achieve the same thing (and do more because they have state and thus can connect to Vuex etc…). However, they do have a slightly larger memory footprint and thus will lead to a marginally slower load time. I guess it depends on your use case and how big your components are.

For me, the larger drawback was functional components not being able to hook up nicely with Vuex, so in those cases you’d either need to wrap your functional component or pass the vuex-bound state into it, in which case you are probably better having a Dynamic Component longer term.
