Smoothie combo #2

I’d been having a lot of facial inflammation lately. I concocted the following recipe to help reduce “heatiness”, especially around the head area. It tastes great and helps the body detox — the effects for me were very prominent in about 1–2 hours after consumption: my face became less “hot”, and the swelling in my cheeks disappeared, together with 2 cystic acne bumps! And the best part is that this smoothie tasted absolutely wonderful! Yum!!!

Here it is:

Blend half cucumber (unskinned, seeded), 2 kiwifruit (green variety), and 1 cup of raspberries.

The cucumber gives it a cool refreshing feel while its skin adds texture, the kiwis go very well with the cucumber and mask the “vegetable” taste while adding just the right amount of tart sweetness, and the raspberries give it a deliciously red pop of colour while adding a fragrant berry scent!
