Enough With This Basic Income Bullshit

If not the ‘solution for the future automated world,’ Basic Income is definitely an interesting concept to explore for addressing the elimination of extreme poverty, which brings with it myriad benefits.

Extreme poverty sits at the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and contributes to massive issues all the way up the pyramid; leading to widespread health epidemics, overpopulation, lack of education, lack of environmental and conservational awareness, increased violence and pollution. We’re all connected, and the more people who live in dignity, the better off we can all be.

I actually just published a story on Medium about a company who’s exploring Basic Income as a solution to extreme poverty and their pilot that begins at the end of 2016:
