I’ve been like this since I was 19 or so (started studying personal development around 16). After that, I never really had a strong opinion on anything and was always open to new perspectives. Being completely and totally objective about every single thing. It is an amazing principle to live by. Although, sometimes it may feel that you are like a mist or a fog, just going around. And, if you are not careful, you can start complicating everything. So there is a fine line in that as well. One of the main things, that had such a huge influence on me when I was a kid, was Charlie Munger’s quote:
“I never allow myself to have an opinion on anything that I don’t know the other side’s argument better than they do.” — Charlie Munger
Anyway, thank you for the article Tony. I genuinely enjoyed reading it. :)
