MY LEARNING EXPERIENCES AS A PRODUCT MANAGEMENT STUDENT AT BINAR ACADEMY X KAMPUS MERDEKA 4
Greetings everyone! ✨
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amanda Febrianti, usually called Manda. Currently, I am 6th semester of studies in the Informatics program at Singaperbangsa Karawang University. I from Karawang, a city known for its industrial sector. Alhamdulillah, this semester I had the opportunity to take part in Independent Study activities which were made directly by KEMENDIKBUD, namely Kampus Merdeka. I was accepted at PT. Lentera Bangsa Benderang or what we normally call Binar Academy. I chose the Product Management study program.
My first impression when I joined this product management class was that I was very doubtful because I felt inferior to other friends. Because here I am still new to product management. Even I don’t know whether product management is still on the same path as the study program on campus that I’m currently taking.
However, this feeling of insecurity made me more motivated to study product management. Here I have to survive more to learn about product management. Starting with materials that I didn’t even study in college. But this is precisely the challenge, because I am outside my comfort zone to process.
From the beginning, I was afraid to take the product manager class because I didn’t have basic experience in product management. Until now I can face everything! Of course, a lot of people who help my process. Starting from having classmates who are hilarious, fun, and care for one another. And of course we have a facilitator who really helps us while in this product management class.
Allow me to introduce my facilitator for a moment. He is Febryan Anugrah Agung Permana, often called Kak Fean. Busy people will work. Behind it all, he is someone who really pays attention to his students to be able to understand them in sentences that are easy to explain. Kak Fean was the person who played the most role in my process of learning product management. With me asking so many questions, he was always patient and diligent in teaching me. Besides that, Kak Fean is very close to his students, even though he sometimes gets a little annoying. I want to thank Kak Fean for being patient in teaching!
It doesn’t feel like time has been running for 3 months. And I learned many things in Binar’s product management class. Starting from getting to know friends from various regions, and various campuses. Got a new lesson that turned out to be really fun to learn so far.
I have found great joy in the process of becoming a product manager through the independent study program of Kampus Merdeka 4 Program with Binar Academy. This opportunity has allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills in product management, which I find incredibly fascinating. It is my goal to apply what I have learned and make a meaningful contribution to the field.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have participated in the Kampus Merdeka 4 program with Binar Academy, where I embarked on a journey of independent study in product management. This experience has been immensely valuable and has had a positive impact on my career development.
But it doesn’t feel like we are now approaching the final project. Soon it will be separated from the other friends, even though it feels like we have known each other very briefly. We really hope that this final assignment will have a satisfactory grade so that all can pass and get good grades! Hopefully in the future what is learned at this time can be applied later in the workplace. Success for Binat Academy!
