A considerable amount of time has been spent on designing the beautiful staircases in the Si-oul project.

All the houses at Si-oul are adorned by staircases that are not only aesthetically beautiful but also technically and equally astounding, design-wise.

Sun House — Sol

The staircase in the Sun House was designed to have a ‘floating effect.’ It is suspended over a water body in the foyer leading up to the first floor. This staircase actually possesses cantilevered steps coming out of the feature wall, creating an illusion of being held by the brass rods suspended from the first floor.

Moon House — Lua

The Moon House has a private staircase in the master bedroom leading up to the observatory or moon room. Fabricated on a steel structure, this staircase is one-piece and curves its way up to the rooftop. Designed to be in the shape of a crescent, the staircase is engulfed by beautiful monolithic curved walls as seen in the images.

Earth House — Terra

The Earth House has the most spectacular staircase of the entire project! A marvel of modern day engineering, this staircase — as you might notice from the diagram and picture below — has no center spine, which is an essential element in designing a spiral staircase.

Fabricated completely off-site, it is a single-piece staircase that needs to be attached at the bottom and the top.

The unique staircase structure of each villa is just one of the many design features of the Si-oul project.
