It kind of seem remarkable to me that companies based around applications even start or get funding without someone that can build and oversee the development of the a project. If there isn’t a single coder that is wholly dedicated to the progress of the project and not just waiting for their next better job, then how does the company expect iteration to happen and deadlines to be prioritized.

If I were a programmer, I couldn’t even imagine only answering to people that have no understanding of my job and only speak in the language of ideas.
