The BIGGEST Difference Between Those Making Money and Those Who Don’t

Here’s the thing:

You’re all over the place.

Like many people, you want to make money from home. And yes, you want to be super successful and rich — like many of us do.

But guess what?

If you’re constantly looking for that one business opportunity that’ll make you an overnight success, it ain’t gonna happen.

Hate to burst your bubble, but it’s quite true.

And realistically, there’s no excuse for that. You just can’t have, and sustain success if you’re playing musical chairs with different business opportunities.

In today’s post, I’ll share with you exactly what you need to do make extra money from home and put you on the fast track to success.

Most People Don’t Make Money From Home

Imagine this scenario:

After months of falling for scams, you finally found a really good business opportunity online that doesn’t require too much work to setup. And if you play it right, you could be monetize it within a few weeks.

So you take the following steps:

  • Purchase a custom domain? Check.
  • WordPress installed? Check.
  • A few weeks worth of content scheduled? Check.
  • Start building a list of subscribers? Double check.

All you need to do is a monetization strategy, right?

But here’s what happens:

While looking that up, you stumble onto a different can’t miss business opportunity and start focusing on that.

Sounds familiar?

And the reasoning is all the same too.

“I just don’t want to put all my eggs into ONE basket.”

“I want to make a FORTUNE, not little money.”

“It’s good to have variety.”

That’s the type of thinking and reasoning that gets people no where.

I’ll explain why that happens later in the post …

But First, A Quick Example …

A few years back, I had an associate that was insanely crazy about pursuing new business opportunities.

In the 5 years I knew him, he attempted to pursue 19 different ways to make money.

Here’s an email he sent me once:

That business opportunity he was eager about was a home typing business that cost $37 to join.

But that was just the beginning. A few years later there was another idea:

This one was more promising BUT it wasn’t pursued.

Note: There were quite a few other opportunities he wanted to pursue within that time frame, but definition of all over the place, right?

Think about it …

Every time something new came up that presented a possibility to make extra money from home, he jumped on that bandwagon.

While ditching all efforts and attempts of the previous opportunity he was interested in.

Bottom line: he would constantly want to try anything, and everything, until he ended up right back where he started …

… nowhere.

That’s what you want to avoid.

And you can avoid it if you just do one thing …

Those Making Money and Those Who Don’t

So, what’s the biggest difference between the two?

One word.

That’s it.

Throughout the years, I’ve witnessed many successful people, who’ve had great focus on their business, succeed beyond their imagination.

On the flip side, there have been many hopefuls that are still trying to find that one opportunity that makes them their fortune. Until then, they keep on investing in books, courses and new opportunities to make money from home.

When you’re completely focused on one task at a time, you increase your chances of success.

For example:

Have you ever tried to look at two objects, on opposite sides of the room, at the same time? It’s almost impossible because you can’t focus in on either object.

But when you look at them individually, you see them clearly.

Same goes for if you’re trying to make money.

To succeed, you need to be focused on one thing, and master it, before you move onto the next.

Learning that mentality took many years.

Plus, my girlfriend at the time, sealed the deal by telling me this after falling into the trap of being all over the place:

“Why don’t you choose something and stick with it. Jumping around all over the place isn’t going to get you no where. If you do that, you might as well give up and get a job like everybody else.”

Obviously there’s some truth to that, don’t you think?

Over To You

I hope you truly understand the importance of being focused.

Because if you are ANYTHING right now like how my associate was back then, you have a serious issue. And your issue is your reasoning behind jumping between opportunities.

Stop trying to find that ONE big opportunity to make extra money and choose one to focus on. Then, when you’ve found that one … apply yourself to it.

You won’t succeed in anything if you don’t have a definite focus on one particular business.

That’s the major difference between those that actually make extra money from home, and those that steady wish they were able to make extra money.

Go ahead; share your thoughts.

Do you agree that focus is important when pursuing money making opportunities?

If you do, I’d love to hear your own opinion as to why. And even if you don’t, don’t hesitate to share why you think that way as well.

We’re almost at the halfway point of 2017 and if you’re not making money, then you need to really reassess what’s stopping you from doing so.
