Netflixのオーストラリア参入は来年3月か4月と言われている中、オーストラリアのNine Televisionの親会社Nine Entertainmentと出版大手のFairfax Mediaは、SVODサービスを展開するStream Co.を共同で設立することに。SVODのサービス名はStan、年内に開始される見込みで、月額利用料はAUS$10(8.70ドル)前後とのこと。
“Breaking Bad”の全シーズンと、”Breaking Bad”のスピンオフ”Better Call Saul”の独占配信が目玉となりそう。ちなみに”Breaking Bad”のファイナルシーズンは、既に競合でも配信されているみたいです。
