Who are you talking to? Do I not have the right to ask that my words be addressed instead of having them ignored and sidestepped?
I think in respectful discussion, the words of the other are addressed.
We should address the word, “irregardless” — because it’s redundant. Not trying to nit-pick at you, but it is.
I also do see your point about land ownership and voting. However, I think it’s weird that you don’t recognize the fact that women aren’t asking that their vote be counted more. Just that we get to do it too. And if you think we didn’t have to fight for that, some women dying or have to face being brutalized in other ways, that’s not correct either.
Also, no one ever said that some men didn’t have to fight for voting rights.
And the draft comment is largely irrelevant because we don’t use it. And by the way, in Israel, women and men MUST serve — it isn’t optional at all.
Might also matter to note the fact that women serving in the US military are at an EXTREME risk of sexual assault, rape and harassment, yet they sign up anyway.
Oh, and that pesky problem of women fighting to have the right to serve in the military. Then the fight to be allowed to serve in combat zones…
Have you been paying attention? Some women have FOUGHT just so they could serve in the first place! This is just a fact.
Anyway. I’m bored. This is just silly. You say I don’t deal with facts.
You win. Clearly, I’m the one not looking at facts and cherry picking. You totally caught me and proved beyond a shadow of doubt how right you are.
