Denial breaks internal

Left or right! Gas or barracks! Left or right! Prison or Borough!

At first I too felt hopeful.

Then I remembered the documentation that’s available regarding the Holocaust during WWII. I remembered how, even though it details those crimes against humanity in the voice of both the perpetrators and their victims, there are still those who remain steadfast in their denial.

I don’t say this to hurt you. I am just sharing what I learned through studying genocide (which, that is EXACTLY what this is). Denial is extremely corrosive to the mind. It is a mental illness that cannot be broken from the outside.

No amount of evidence can penetrate a mind in willful denial. A mind in denial must want to heal itself. The owner of the mind in denial must be willing to walk through deep discomfort of cognitive dissonance, willing to struggle through the grief of being dangerously wrong and perpetrating the death of other human beings — not through their hands — through their refusal to use their senses to absorb it and their contribution in the indifference that upholds this murder.

Yes, there is blood on the hands of the deniers. They are only interested in protecting themselves. I was crushed when I learned this truth. It changed my career path. It changed me in ways I cannot describe.

I read recently in the context of the Holocaust that many people have a tendency to look for something good out of that horrific madness, but they will find no good in it. The deeper we look and the harder we try to find something other than complete horror and madness, the more horror and madness we will see.

The same is true in the case of this precinct in NYC. This isn’t the only precinct with these horrific abuses as a matter of policy towards POC in NYC. And, this isn’t the only city in NY; and NY isn’t the only state in the country perpetuating this murder, genocide of the soul.

You already know all of this. I’m writing it here for other white people who might convince themselves this is a NYC thing. It isn’t.

To those of you who are still reachable, whites not stuck inside a mind sick with denial,

you can help by understanding the perpetual slavery and genocide for which our police force has become the entry way to hell. Those in active service turning their heads Or defending murderers and those engaged in activities perpetuating this are actively dying in the grips of the devil. Some may be redeemed, most will not. If you don’t care about POC you can care to save the souls of the foot soldiers in the streets carrying out orders which amount to acting as the train conductors moving cattle cars packed with human beings, on a one way track to the prison system.

Arbeit Macht Frei

The sign the Jews passed under when they went to the gas chamber or the barracks depending on their fitness for work, could be written across entryways to jail cells. Those perpetrators are burning in hell. This is NO DIFFERENT. Blue lives matter? What about blue souls? Those souls are akin to the doctors at the end of the row pointing left or right, gas or barracks, gas or barracks. Prison or Borough, Prison or Borough. Left or right.

Either is a nightmare because there’s always tomorrow where starving bellies are selected once more: left or right. We say, “never again.” We should be saying, “never did end. Now is time.” Saying never again implies it ended. Genocide has never ended.

We should have believed POC long long ago. We failed in our indifference. We must atone for needing this evidence when if we had listened, this could have been much easier on all of us. We shouldn’t need the white guy with the documents. I understand that we do, practically, but we cannot overlook our indifference in the face of our neighbors crying for relief, scared of the roll-call they face just by leaving their homes.

Left or right! Gas or barracks!

Left or right! Prison or Borough!

Any one of us could have searched and found these lawsuits of public record. Shame on us for not doing the work.

Indifference is collaboration.

I hope Shaun’s work doesn’t make people feel helpless and overwhelmed. I hope the evidence lights those who are capable of learning. I hope it makes them do even one small thing to bring about the end of centuries of kidnapping, abuse and murder.

The deniers are hopeless most of them. But I know there are people out there who can still listen. I pray that they do.

With respect, love and prayers to you and your family. May God keep you safe, warm and happy.

No one is free until all are free.
