I am always interested in the “why” of things for individuals. So yeah, I was interested.
Personally, I believe your theism — including atheism — does not matter as long as you walk right in the world. Compassion, empathy, equality and respect for others are way more important than any books you read or rituals you follow.
I believe that atheists are among the most revered of God’s children. Because you don’t need an external compass. That’s how strong your heart is. I think God sees that too.
I worry less for atheists who walk the way that you do then Christians who point fingers and judge others.
