Growing up in a Sicilian Catholic home can leave a nasty after taste for anything ‘Christianity.’
I struggle with the “if you don’t believe, you’re going to hell” dogma — because it is a DIRECT contradiction to the golden rule. And since I see the golden rule repeated over and over in nearly all the faiths — I think that means it supersedes the dogma injected in Christianity by those who did not know Jesus or what he stood for.
Tomato tomato. We’re still on the same road.
