I remember how normal it was for me to hear, “that’s so gay,” or “you throw like a girl,” it was so common, but it didn’t seem right to me. I think that’s because I thought it was about other people and that was mean.

But I was always ok to say something shitty about myself. Right? Never in a million years did I think of it as shorthand, but that’s exactly what it is!

Not gonna say that again. Ever.
