So disgustingly true.
Unfortunately, I don’t think Bernie was different. I think he would have gotten hung up on the cogs and been made a lame duck very quickly.
We are dealing with people who are very binary in their thinking. The people who are in congress today (minus a select few) are very much “all or nothing” and will stop progress in the direction we clearly both seek (you and I).
I think you’re not worried enough about Dfrump and his rhetoric. I think you seriously underestimate the nasty mentality of our GOP dominated congress. I’m terrified.
And I’m someone who believes in checks and balances. I don’t want a majority — 3 branch democrats or 3 branch republican government.
That would be a disaster in either direction.
