Kids In Kenya Join One Million Flames

These boys put a lot of heart into this. They look so brilliant to me. They said things that gave my heart hope. Especially,

“I am not my disability.”

Funny how much we have in common even from so far away. Funny how children know just how to cut through all the tangential nonsense and get right to the point. Amazing how this idea sprang forth and gave them a prompt for contemplation.

The most incredible thing to me with the kids is how willing they are to learn and think when there is space for them to do so. I love every one of them. I wish I could hug them.
