Understandable. I wasn’t suggesting people who had different experience would not or could not figure it out.

Since the racism in my home was very quiet and my family is so welcoming — to the point of enmeshment — I don’t think I would have realized how I am part of the problem.

I think I would be one of those people who says, “I don’t see color.”

Which is making a conscious decision to be insane.

At any rate, it is not meant to say anything about anyone but myself.
