I can’t speak to it from the perspective of a veteran. I think your voices are extremely important — perhaps the MOST important.

Because the job requires a respect for men and women in uniform. It requires comforting Gold Star families.

Of all the things… that makes me cry. He has NO RIGHT! He did NOT EARN THAT! How could anyone do it? Why would anyone do that? Doesn’t that just cheapen the whole thing?!?
