Right after Winter Break, Columbia students got back to the crucial work of protesting the cruel conditions under which people live in places ruled by regimes like Iran, ISIS, Hamas, and Islamic Jihad while multiple wars persist in the region. It was an act meant bring awareness to these groups’ various human rights abuses both to their own countrymen and to the world at large, thus reinforcing the sophisticated knowledge these students have gleaned at an elite university that teaches western civilization as part of its core curriculum.

I’m kidding! Western values are both passé and the product of white supremacy. Which explains why these students chose to attend a historic Ivy League college that costs $70k/year. To show they are anti-racist, they did what any normal person would do: they marched for the Houthis, the terrorist group currently attacking cargo ships on the Red Sea. After murdering somewhere between 150,000–200,000 people in their home country of Yemen during a decade-long civil war, the Houthis have partnered with Hamas in a bid for international sympathy from a western audience. And so far, it’s worked:
