Letter to ONEX Network Community
I’ll start off by saying ONEX Network is coming up on it’s 1st birthday on December 17th 2019 🎂 🥳. Some partnering up for airdrops, bounties didn’t go the way I’d like but overall I’m proud to say ONEX still shows interest within the crypto world.
Though it’s come to what it is now that to grow ONEX Network even further it seems I need to be more involved within the community. There are multiple ways this can be achievable, though it all seems to involve the founder getting more involved. The more I am involved, the more the community depends on the founder.

Some only see the notion, no founder means No development = project dead. I think I speak for the whole community by saying “We don’t want this way of thinking”. — Highlander
I will always want to work on this project but if one day I disappear like Satoshi and work in the dark. I want to give the community full knowledge this project is decentralized and it doesn’t take 1 entity to run it. — Highlander
After a failed attempt on a huge airdrop to get allocated supply out within the crypto world. I ended up with an even bigger allocation than expected now. So I went back and forth in my head about different things, I was set on having a IDEO but I didn’t want to be taking on more of a role. To further continue working on this project, I can’t continue to fund it myself though.
IDEO ( Dec.17 2019 ):
- 250K (ONEX) IDEO set at price 0.01 ETC. I will be placing this allocated amount on Saturn Network on the day of ONEX birthday, Dec 17th.
These funds will be used to further get us more attention by develop. Also working towards making us a more stand alone community ran project.
Future Fund Raising plans:
- Our future plans are to distribute more ONEX with again a fund raising. Ether by using and exchange or a different way, price and quantity are undetermined at this time.
Updates:
We are in last stages of develop for a idle/rpg style game called ETC Odyssey. Plans are to deploy on Kotti test net to do some public game play testing then deploy to Ethereum Classic. Within ETC Odyssey I do wish to implement a way for ONEX distribution as an incentive to players. At this moment I can’t make a promise that it will be worked into a smart contract.

Future Plans:
In the future I would hope to be able to give away open source dApps so users can easily set these up on their own domains. More so I wish these could be ONEX implemented dApps. I do think the path to a more decentralized project is helping the community out in ways, where they are less dependent of Founder.
I have been holding on to a domain I have always thought to be a key component for a ONEX use case in the future, called Classic Market.
Classic Market could one day become an ETC exchange using Saturn Network order books with fees paid in ONEX. Or maybe Classic Market might be more fit as a a platform created to track different Ethereum Classic crypto tokens. Which ever it might be this domain holds strong ETC ties and could be very invaluable to ONEX Network down the road.
