Amaze and impress your friends and family with clean windows. You can do this much easily by following below listed tips:
- Clean stains — Windows are prone to stubborn stains especially the ones facing out of house. These windows are exposed to hard water runoff, minerals, bird droppings and elements that stick easily. Utilise these techniques to rid your windows of stains:
- Use a mineral deposit removal cleaner.
- Spray vinegar onto the affected area and let it sit for at least five minutes. Use a sponge or cloth to rub the stain.
- Make a paste with water and a cleaner which contains oxalic acid. Rub the paste over the stains and rinse it off with clean water after the stain has faded.
- Remove stickers — Your children or maybe even you have applied a sticker on various walls of your house including the windows. Who would have thought that removing them would be so difficult? Now that you know the reality, what will you do? Follow these simple tips and remove every sticker with ease:
- Spray water added with liquid soap over the stickers and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Then use a plastic scraper for rubbing the wet sticker in order to remove it completely. Hold the scraper at 45 degree angle and apply gentle pressure.
- Rinse dirt and grime — Outside windows are exposed to all kinds of dirt and grease and other pollutants. You will need different types of brushes and a homemade cleaning solution. If your windows are really dirty then start off with a garden hose and apply flowing water on the windows. Use a spiral brush to clean the slim gaps between the sliding parts. Use a cleaning solution to remove all grease and grime. The solution can be made by mixing the following things:
- Two gallons of water with 6 ml of dishwashing soap
