Visit Nepal 2020 to get Postponed
Government of Nepal is planning to postpone Visit Nepal 2020 due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Cabinet Metting which was held on March 1st — Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has proposed 2022 for a Visit Nepal Year-Yet to be decided
Similarly, the government has also suspended Sagarmatha Dialogue scheduled for next months.
A Cabinet has also decided to temporarily halt the issuance of on-arrival visa for China, Iran, Italy, South Korea and Japan from March 7 to March 32.The tourist have to issue visa from Nepalease embassy from their respective country.

3 new Infrared Radiation Thermometers have been added in Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu to monitor people who may be infected by deadly Corona Virus. Health personnel have also been increased and everyone coming from Corona Virus affected region will be thoroughly checked and quarantined if needed.
The cabinet meeting also held discussion on temporarily halting flights to and from countries hit by the coronavirius outbreak..
As a preventive mesasure, the health minister has urged people to not organize big public gathering evernts.
