Hi Sticky : New name for Notes SE
2022.12.25 Updated: Added ‘Hi’ in front to differentiate and make search work. 🙂
The app, Notes SE, launched in April and the feedback has been pretty good. The users like how it’s formed and how it works. I’d like to go a bit further with this new update.
First, I’m changing the name to Hi Sticky. Rather than keeping formal name as Notes, using Sticky would much more explain what the app does.
With the name change, the icon will also change to show Hi rather than se. 🙃
Opening notes page where you see lists of notes has been changed a bit. It may get some improvements later on.
Also this update introduces Hi Sticky+ which is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features. I’ll describe the features that will be unlocked.
- Additional Fonts
You can select one of 10 fonts on each of your notes. You can also set ‘Default Font’ inside Settings page.
2. Additional Background Colors
Backgrounds will work as same as fonts. You can set it per note or set default background which will work on all notes that didn’t set it’s background. Background and font will also work on all the widgets.
3. App Icons
You can select app icon with the color and type you’d like.
4. Widget Settings
Widget settings include Hide Date, Remove Empty Line and Font Size options. You can see how the widget will be shown dynamically on the page.
Font size within the app can be adjusted in control center per app basis which is managed by iOS. On Mac, it can be set in app settings from this update.
Unlocking Hi Sticky+ will work on all your devices with single purchase. It also supports Family Sharing. If you like the app, get it and make use of it now. You won’t regret. 😉
