Is Your Company Leveraging Social Media Advertising? It Should Be.

Great post, Andrew. I agree that in the past, Facebook ads were generic and annoying (if we’re being blunt). However, the amount of targeting and personalization in place these days has brought social media advertising to a place where users can find value in the ads that occupy their newsfeed. The ads I find myself engaging with most often are those not trying to sell to me, but rather provide value in the form of information, help, advice, etc. Concert venues letting me know that my favorite artist (who I’ve bought tickets from before) will be in town in the near future, for example. Or a clothing company that I spend way too much money at letting me know they have a huge sale coming up. Value I think is the key word every social advertiser should keep in mind in effort to attract rather than repel users. Thanks for sharing!
