What an inspirational article! Thank you for writing it. It reminded me of an idea I frequently share with my patients (I am a psychotherapist specializing in trauma and emotions). When they worry about being judged at work or in social settings, I remind them to make sure they are seeing the world through their own eyes. I ask, “Are you seeing and judging you through the eyes of others? If so, shift so you’re seeing others through your own eyes.” I add, “I’d rather you judged others for their kindness and good character. You need to focus outward to properly evaluate things for yourself.” Alex, I like your focus on giving back and engaging through generosity. That’s so important!! Thanks again for sharing.
