I don't believe in god
Rebecca Rose Thering

Just read your story. So pleased to hear you were able to free yourself without doing anything irrational. I wouldn’t have had the strength. I am one of the few people I know whose parents were agnostic, if not in fact atheist. Folks have tried to ‘convert’ me along the way, and I was bullied a lot for saying there ‘is no god’ (which just made me dislike religion all the more)… John Lennon helped me realize I wasn’t alone (Imagine)… and today, of course, things are better than they were in ‘my day’ (I’m a senior citizen). Congratulations and best wishes for a wonderful life without invisible superbeings!! Toronto girl also!!
