I believe coding is fundamental to literacy in the future — Craig Federighi

Coding education is becoming increasingly important in today’s world, and it’s not just beneficial for developed countries, but also for developing countries. In fact, coding education may be even more critical in developing countries, where it can help bridge the digital divide and create greater economic opportunities. Coding is the future of the world. Coding is an essential skill in the future because it is an important part of the digital transformation. It is the language of computers and all they do. It has become a basic requirement for acquiring many jobs these days, with many companies looking for employees who have a strong grasp on coding knowledge.

The number of jobs that require coding skills will grow exponentially because most services and products are being digitized. It means they will work on a virtual environment, and without coding skills, it would be hard to make them work successfully.

We are living in an era of digitalization, where we are surrounded by technologies from all directions. In this modern world, computer coding has become an important skill for students and children. Earlier, this skill was looked at as something very hard and impossible, and thus, very few people were able to learn it. However, things have changed now. There are various platforms that helps the people in attaining the essential skill. It helps in building confidence, helps in building rational logic, makes them creative and much more.

One of the primary reasons why coding education is critical in developing countries is that it can create valuable economic opportunities. As many countries continue to move towards a digital economy, the skills and knowledge required to succeed in this new landscape are changing. By learning how to code and develop digital products and services, individuals in developing countries can access new job opportunities and become more competitive in the global marketplace. Coding education can help bridge the digital divide and create greater equality. In many developing countries, access to technology and digital tools is limited, and those who do have access often lack the skills needed to make the most of it. By providing coding education, governments and organizations can empower individuals from all backgrounds to participate in the digital economy, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

Moreover, coding education can help unleash the potential of young people, who are one of the most valuable resources in any country. By providing coding education in schools and other educational institutions, young people can gain valuable skills that will enable them to pursue their own entrepreneurial ventures. Developing countries with a robust coding education infrastructure will be better equipped to support innovation and entrepreneurship.

Furthermore, the future is technology and when we talk about technology , coding is a word that stay at the top. It is so paramount that coding has been made compulsory in particular classes in the developing countries. Even though coding has become an integral part of the curriculum in many countries, but in order to enrich the global talent pool, more emerging economies should take the initiative of producing more programmers and software developers. Moreover, the knowledge of coding will also allow them to develop their own applications, thereby working as freelance programmers as well. At present, coding is quite popular only among fragmented groups and communities. And also National Education Policy, the comprehensive framework to guide the development of education in the country has introduced coding from class 6th. Here the developing countries will develop more and there would be more assets in the country. Hungary is one of the countries that stand on the top-5 list for the countries with the best programmers out there, One of the main reason is, It introduced programming in primary and secondary schools which made children more interested in coding and want to become the programmers of the future.

Many developing countries including India have realized the importance of coding which is leading to more changes in the various country’s education systems. India has taken a step forward towards a better and more digitalized country. It’s your time to start your kid’s coding journey now. Therefore coding education can help developing countries meet some of their most pressing challenges. For example, coding can help improve healthcare and educational outcomes by enabling the development of new digital tools and services. Additionally, coding can help promote environmental sustainability by enabling the development of new technologies that reduce carbon emissions and protect natural resources.
