In this blog, I am not going to talk about the known movies such as Interstellar, Harry Potter, Lord of rings, Pk (Bollywood) and many more.

I am going to talk about underestimated movies that are not known much in today’s world by today’s generation.

So, Here we are.

3. Moana (2016)

Moana is a 2016 computer-animated musical adventure film. It received two academy award nominations: one for best-animated feature film and other for the best original song (written).

IMDb — 7.6/10

It revolves around a teenage girl, Moana, who is itself chosen by the god of the ocean to restore the balance of good and evil, to find a magic relic (stone) and rebuild it as the heart of Tahiti (an island).

The most lovely thing about the movie is its music and animation, both the things it was nominated for an Academy award, seriously, you will fell in love by the soundtrack and the cuteness of the protagonist, Moana.

It is a worth watching movie for nature and adventure lovers. It is one of the best animation movies in the market. If you love the film such as ‘How to train your Dragon’ or ‘Zootopia’; you will enjoy this movie too.

2. Saving Private Ryan

It is a 1998 world war based film and won 5 Oscars in different fields.

IMDb — 8.6/10

The story revolves around a captain (formerly a school teacher before WWII) who was assigned a mission with seven others to safely extract a Private, Ryan, from the enemy territory just because Private has lost all his three brothers due to the war.

The thing that I love the most about this movie is the story-line and war scenes. It gives you goosebumps at certain stages, suddenly there was silence across the fields, and next second the field turn into ash just due to the Germany planes.

It is a worth watching movie for World War lovers as well as the one who loves action and thrill in the movies. If you like films such as ‘Dunkirk’ or ‘Black Hawk Down’; you will definitely fall in love with this.

1. THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY (2015)

Source — random search at google

It is a 2015 British biographical film about the Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.

IMDb — 7.2/10

The story revolves around an Indian origin Brahman who don’t have any formal education, however, was able to derive a lot of mathematical formulas and proofs under the guidance of his mentor professor G. H. Hardy of Cambridge University. Ramanujan believes that his knowledge comes directly from God and God is responsible for providing all the information to him.

It is a very emotional and motivational movie. In fact, after watching this film, I even tried to solve some conjecture myself but was not able too.

So, I think it is a must watch movie for all the Math nerds and for everyone who wants to do something new in life.

I think that each and everyone should watch these movies once in his lifetime.

I know that I have missed a lot of movies which you think should be on the blog. So comment the movie name you think I missed below and let other readers know about them.
