There is an amazing 2015 documentary that covers this exact topic — cheap clothes come at the very high cost of human lives in developing and underdeveloped countries, not to mention the enormous environmental impact. Not to mention, Ben Stiller shed light on just how unethically the fashion industry operates in his vastly under-rated 2001 movie ‘Zoolander’. It may be satire, but that film exposes the true face of fashion in our world.
