Leaving your comfort zone and owning your life.

Two and a half years ago, I was self conscious and did not know where my life was heading. But all that changed when I left my comfort zone.

I really wanted to visit Rio De Janeiro and experience the worlds greatest party, carnaval! I asked my friends they kept saying yes no yes no, in the end I thought to my self “why am I waiting for others?” and booked my tickets. This was a brave move on my part, as it was the first time I took a bold decision and put myself first.

I had an amazing time in Brazil, met loads of people, made new friends from all over the world and left my worries at home. This made me realize my passion, traveling!

Since Brazil, I have taken numerous trips by myself and made loads of friends from all over the world.

Whenever I would come back home from a holiday, I would always be thinking about my next trip.

When I got back from Vietnam, I took another bold decision. To do a working holiday in Australia.

As I am currently working as a developer, my skills are transferable world wide and the demand just keeps getting stronger. So, I figured I could combine both my career and my love for travel by doing a working holiday out in Australia and still stay in the same industry.

Two and a half years ago, I would never have imagined packing up and moving but the moment I left my comfort zone was the moment I discovered my passion. I leave for Australia at the end of August 2017 and look forward to fueling my passion and learning more about myself.

When did you leave your comfort zone and find your passion?
