Wilson FC
The base for this design started out as a potential logo for a new club coming to Wilson in the First Flight League. In the end they went in a different direction, so I decided to re-purpose this look for the series.
The crest closely resembles a law enforcement badge with a dark blue outline. The interior of the container keeps things simple with “Wilson” sitting atop a row of vertical bars. The font choice for this club is a more subtle look. Within the bars sites an old-school soccer ball and “FC”. Overall this is simple look that is straight to the point.
I have Wilson FC sharing field space with the Wilson Youth Soccer Association at the J. Burt Gillette Athletic Complex. The complex features multiple lighted fields and a field house. This would be a great location for a side to grow with.
The jersey mockup draws directly from the logo again by bringing the vertical bars from the logo over. I wanted to incorporate the dark blue by adding highlights on the cuffs and on the socks. I really like the split color collar in this design.
