Expect Nothing, Appreciate Everything.

“At times, our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

This quote represents what I experienced, learned and witnessed in Amal Fellowship over the past 3 months. This experience motivated me to be that “SPARK” for others.

We should appreciate others for even the smallest things they do, because that might have meant a whole world to them. We don’t know what others are facing or are going through so we shouldn’t expect anything, but we should appreciate them for the things they do.

By appreciating others we can help them gain their spirit back and do a wonderful job. Even a comment of appreciation from a peer or stranger can serve as a spark to ignite the flames of passion and moving forward.

This motivation can help them do things which they were afraid to do before. It gives us this incredible confidence in ourselves that, Yes! We can do it and Yeah! I am capable of doing much more.

Giving a comment of appreciation might not be a big thing and might not consume much of our time, but creates a huge difference for the one receiving it.
