Have you ever faced problem in focusing on the task you are doing ? Well yeah everyone does. Every single person face this problem of losing their focus. This might leads to two things (might be more than 2)
- Leaving the work undone.
- Effecting the quality of the work.
To solve this problem I worked on an activity assigned to me, to work on my focus.
You can also try doing this activity because it is very effective.
First thing to do was to set the tasks that I have to do to practice this. The tasks I choose were
- Preparing the portion of my subject Occupational Safety and Health, taught by one teacher.
- Preparing The other portion of my subject Occupational Safety and Health, taught by the second teacher.
- Complete my project work 1 of Amal Fellowship.
- Complete my project work 2 of amal fellowship.
After deciding the tasks I have to start working on Task 1 for 25 minutes, by setting an alarm for 25 minutes. After completing one task I can take a 15 min break and then start the other task. By completing 4 task I can take a 30 min break and then start this practice again if I have more tasks.
Here is one thing. You can control your thoughts, so if you just focus them on your task for some time, you can achieve many things.
I started doing my task 1 for preparation of my exam and set the timer, completing all the four tasks that I set.
The obstacles I faced in it random thoughts, such as taking a break in between studying, eating something, reading manga and watching my favorite anime. But I didn’t lose focus and tried to complete the task.
One of the greatest motivation in completing the task was that if I give these complete 25 minutes to my work and do it effectively then I can do a quality work and then I will get a small break in between doing my tasks and I can do these things, which I thought of doing while doing the task, those breaks and refresh my mind.
This approach helped my a lot in completing my tasks efficiently.
