Utilizing the Priority Matrix

In this fast paced world and midst of the hustle bustle of life, when one has many tasks to do and many things to accomplish. But if the things are not managed respectively they create a chaotic situation and serve as a disruption. The set up of a priority matrix is a sort of management key to balance every task one has to do, it comprises of selections which are filled accordingly the type of urgency and delay.
I had always had a mess of things to accomplish as that’s how the clumsy students are.
Everyday I make new plans and not all of them are accomplished by the end of the day. Sometimes only a few of them are achieved and the rest goes at the back of the cupboard all because the lack of managing things properly.
For the first time in my life I prioritize my things. First of all, I sorted out what was urgent and important to me. As I’m having my exams so the thing that should be important as well as urgent to me was to prepare for my exams and I specified five hours to prepare diligently for my exam. Then arrives the Amal course and to manage the workload it is important that I do it on daily basis as not to pile up the burden. So, I marked two hours daily for it. and lastly, one of my friends is coming to Pakistan after so many years and I have to pay a visit at her place to meet her. It’s important as well as urgent as for now so I specified three hours for my meeting with her.
I also have to complete my book It’s not urgent yet important to me so I specified one hour for reading before going to snuggle into my bed.
And lastly the things that are neither urgent nor important are using social media and watching dramas so after planning all the above things I’m spared with a few hours in which I prefer watching drama.
I’m a complete mess when it comes to manage things properly but after prioritizing my things using this matrix I have managed my to do list very well and for the first time.
