Here are four videos that Boston Bruins fans must see from the 2020 NHL All-Star weekend:

1. Pastrnak is the MVP

Atlantic Division All-Star captain David Pastrnak was named MVP of the 2020 NHL All-Star game. He scored 4 goals and 2 assists in 2 games, which included a hat-trick in the first game against the Metropolitan Division. Pastrnak won the most NHL fan votes, beating out Matthew Tkachuk, Leon Draisaitl, and Anthony Duclair.

2. Pastrnak plays in the NHL’s newest event

David Pastrnak participated in the NHL’s newest All-Star skills event called Shooting Stars. Players get seven pucks to shoot over the crowd to hit numbered targets on the ice and get the most points. Patrick Kane won the event with 22 points in a tiebreaker with Mitchell Marner, while Pastrnak finished second to last with 10 points.

3. Pastrnak is named captain of the Atlantic Division

David Pastrnak had been named captain for the NHL’s 2020 All Stars game. While playing he had some fun being the captain and using his authority towards the referees. Asking the referee to give his team a power play from the bench. When Pastrnak was told “I don’t think you should talk to me right now,” he responded with how he was allowed to since he had “a friggin’ C” all in a joking manner.

4. Boston’s coach Bruce Cassidy has assistant coach

Boston Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy was named the head coach for the Atlantic division team. During the games however, a fan of the rival team St. Louis Blues actress Jenna Fischer was on the bench with him. She is a “hockey mom” who enjoys the “athleticism” of the players and sport. Fischer said that her and Cassidy had “buried the hatchet we’re gonna bring this team to a win tonight”. They did in fact bring the team to a win over the Metropolitan division but did have a loss against the Pacific Division.
