How To Get Free Custom Domain Email Hosting: Yandex Mail

Yandex Mail Provides Custom Domain Email Hosting For free, It is pretty helpful if you are just getting started or running small blog or website. Here is a tutorial to get Started

First Create Normal Yandex Account from Here (mail.yandex.com)

Then Go To: business.yandex.ru/mail

Choose a free plan and login with account that you created in first step

Add A Domain

After logging in with your Yandex account if will redirect you to verify your domain page, Enter your Domain name in text box and click Accept and Connect

Here I am Using Domain Name LiGo.ml (Link Go URL Shorner), that is URL Shortner site I have Just Created to make links more prettier

Now They will ask you to verify your Domain Name

Here, I will Go with DNS Record Verification, you can choose any method as per your convenience

Configure the DNS record for your domain

On your registrar’s website, go to the section for managing the DNS zone and find your domain in the list.
Go to the section for managing DNS records and create a new TXT record.
If the name of the subdomain or host is required, enter the @ symbol.
In the main field, enter the record value they provided
If you need to specify a TTL, enter 21600.

After Adding TXT Record Click on verify Domain

If it says Domain ownership confirmed You are good to go ahead

Now it’s Time to

Configure MX records

MX records are required for sending emails from mailboxes hosted on your domain.

Delete existing MX records that have been configured for your domain

You can delete MX records in the DNS records section of the domain control panel on the registrar’s website.

Create a new MX record in the DNS records section
Value: mx.yandex.net.Copy
The server name must end with a dot.
Priority: 10
If your control panel doesn’t support a priority of 10, select any priority value other than zero.
Subdomain name (Host): @
Some registrars require your domain name instead of the @ symbol (such as example.com). If you are unable to enter the @ symbol or your domain name, please leave the field blank.
If you need to specify a TTL, enter 21600.

You can start using your mailbox after your MX record is updated

Your MX record wll not be updated right away. The process can take up to 72 hours.

Click on Check MX record , it will say Your MX record is configured correctly

Configure DKIM signatures

DKIM Signatures are optional but it’s Good Practice to add DKIM signature for better delivery of your emails

basically DKIM is add TXT record with Value it’s mail._domainkey

Create a TXT record with the following field values (the field names may differ in different control panels):

Subdomain name (or Host ) — mail._domainkey. In some DNS control panels, the public DKIM must also be specified with a domain, for example mail._domainkey.yourdomain.tld.
Value — the text of the public key that you copied from the Add DKIM signature block in the domain settings.
For example, v=DKIM1; k=rsa; t=s; p=MIGfMA0GCSEBtaCOteH4EBqJlKpe...
If you need to fill in the TTL field , specify 21600.
