First Look at War Park’s In-Game Economy

At its heart, War Park is a free-to-play (F2P) action shooter centered around thrilling, team-based tank combat. When a player begins their mercenary career in War Park, they will play through a tutorial that introduces them to loads of different tanks and Commanders, along with the game’s core loop.

Simply put: battle, earn rewards, upgrade your tank, and jump back into the fray!

Common Tanks are the introductory vehicles of mass destruction and provide all players the full War Park experience. Players can jump right into battle, join a War Park (guilds), and participate in various game modes and event types.

Tanks are chock-full of different attributes and bonuses, including a wide variety of craftable Gear, Consumables, and upgradable Crew to suit your playstyle. All Tanks have four key pillars of utility:

Players will accrue XP towards their Tank Mastery, which progressively unlocks new gear, crew seats, and consumable slots, among other rewards. Tanks also let you receive in-game resources and rewards through battles. The more active you are, the more $CRUDE you can collect, and $CRUDE is utilized in all avenues of progression in War Park.

Based on players’ match activity, gear crafting, resource gathering, missions completed and the quality of the tanks they own, they’ll receive an amount of $CRUDE for their trouble. That $CRUDE is required for everyone to progress in the game.

NFT Tanks also allow an owner to share their tank’s gameplay by leasing it to other players. Leasing is a great way for both the owner and the player who leased to collect $CRUDE and enjoy the game together.

Lastly, NFT tanks are eligible to use more of the gear, crew, and consumable slots unlocked through Tank Mastery levels. In future blogs, we’ll talk more about gear, crew, and consumables, especially the ability to recruit, progress, and eventually mint your crew 😉

With that, we’re excited to announce our inaugural Tank, the Tiger I. Limited to a production run of only 12,400, split across a range of familiar qualities — Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic. This Tank is no stranger to the battlefield and every commander’s best friend. The Tiger I might be rolling out before you know it!

To sum up, Common Tanks are available to all players, allowing everyone to play War Park for free! Of course, as F2P players level their Tank Mastery, they may show interest in leasing or buying an NFT Tank to maximize their unlocked arsenal’s utility. Meanwhile, the NFT tanks — Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic qualities — allow players to accumulate resources of all types more quickly, and most importantly, using these Tanks in battle yourself or leasing it to a friend will greatly impact your distribution of $CRUDE which everyone needs to power their war machines!
