I totally agree that it was awesome to see a female (budding) Jedi, and the gender/racial inclusion in this Star Wars film was AMAZING — I’m so freakin’ happy about it! I DO wish Rey had been a little bit more flawed though personally. Everything came so easily for her, which I get, but it made her hard to relate to for me personally. I like being able to root for a character when they don’t succeed right away! Rey I was never all that worried about cuz I was like pssh she can do everything. So I wish they had more of that…but, couldn’t be happier about the increase in racial and gender diversity in this film! Yay! xo
