Almost everyone who has access to the internet has some type of social media account, whether it be Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or etc. Social media has become very popular in the modern society, it’s a part of our daily lifestyle. Most of us start and end our day by viewing various social media platforms.
Have you ever wondered, which social media platform has the highest user rate? Or who is more likely to use each type of platform? Below is an infographic displaying the demographics of five different types of social media platforms, which will help you answer these questions.
When looking at this infographic it is evident that Facebook is the most widely used social media platform. Women tend to use social media at moderately higher rates than men. Also it is apparent that young adults are more likely to use social media compared to elders.
