AI (Artificial intelligence) is everywhere these days
From our smartphones, to virtual assistants in our homes, to robots that automate parts of our jobs — AI is quickly becoming a part of everyday life.
Narrow AI or Weak AI
Is what most people think of when they hear the term “artificial intelligence.” It’s an advanced computer system that can learn from experience and data sets to replicate human behaviors and perform specific tasks with greater efficiency than humans could on their own. For example, facial recognition technology is a form of narrow AI because it relies on training data sets and algorithms to determine who a person is based on their picture. This type of AI can also be used for web search engines, medical diagnostics systems, product recommendations systems, voice recognition software like Siri or Alexa, automated customer service agents like chatbots — you name it!
