Best Hall Effect Keyboards with Rapid Trigger and DKS List (July 2024 Update)

--

Here’s my full list of Hall Effect keyboards (using magnetic switches) with Rapid Trigger, Dynamic keystroke and adjustable actuation point features. Basically the best for gaming. I will keep it updated regularly.

Full-Sized (100%) HE Keyboards:

  1. Keydous NJ98CP — $139.99
  2. NEWMEN GM560Pro — $89.99
  3. Wooting Two HE — $194.99
  4. Steelseries Apex Pro — $199.99
  5. Corsair K70 Max — $229.99

Keydous made a really good magnetic switch keyboard and it’s wireless. Steelseries and Corsair are good, but I’ve had problems with Steelseries before and Corsair isn’t hotswappable for other magnetic switches. Wooting Two HE is another great magnetic switch keyboard.

75%/80%/TKL HE Keyboards

  1. ZOUYA X86 — $69.99
  2. ATTACK SHARK K85 (75%) — $79.99
  3. IROK ND75 (75%) — $89.99
  4. Gamakay TK75HE (75%) — $89.99
  5. MonsGeek MG75S HE — $99.99
  6. Keydous NJ80-CP — $109.99
  7. Monsgeek M1W-SP HE (75%) — $119.99
  8. Drunkdeer A75 Pro (75%) — $139
  9. Melgeek Cyber01 (80%) — $139
  10. Nuphy Field75 HE— $149.95
  11. Akko MOD007B HE and MOD007PC (75%) — $149.99
  12. Akko MOD007v3 HE (75%) — $179.99
  13. Lamzu Atlantis Pro (65%) — $159.99
  14. Wooting 80HE (80%) — $199.99
  15. Keychron Q1 HE (75%) — $219.99
  16. Meletrix BOOG75 (75%) — $229.99

DrunkDeer A75 Pro is pretty great for this price as it has aluminium case and decent software. I can also recommend Keydous if you want a wireless magnetic switch keyboardI have yet to test the under $100 keyboards, they should be alright, but the software is usually lacking with them. Durgod seems the most interesting from these for me.

Akko MOD007B HE is in my regular use right now and I really like it, but they’ve already released a v3 model with 8kHz polling rate and some minor improvements.

Wooting 80HE will be great for sure, 8kHz polling, great latency and rappy snappy (lol), but I don’t want to wait till August for now.

And Meletrix Boog75 is great build quality, it feels like a custom keyboard and has very low latency, but it’s also quite expensive.

Nuphy Field75 HE which releases in August 2024 also seems very promising with its magnetic wrist rest, 8kHz polling and Nuphy usually has good build quality.

65% HE Keyboards

  1. Latenpow Looting68— $115
  2. VXE ATK68 — $115.99
  3. DrunkDeer G65 — $117.99
  4. Darmoshark KT68Z — $117.99
  5. Endgame Gear KB65HE — $139
  6. Arbiter Studio Polar 65 — $150
  7. Lamzu Atlantis Pro— $159.99
  8. Higround Performance 65 — $165
  9. Varmilo Victory 67 — $199

DrunkDeer G65 seems to be the winner for me because of the price and very good software, but I’m not that into 65% layout. Also, VXE and Varmilo 67 seems good.

60% HE Keyboards

  1. REDRAGON FIZZ K617 — $64.99
  2. Womier M68 HE — $75
  3. DrunkDeer G60 — $99.99
  4. Akko 3061S HE Shine-Through —$109.99
  5. WAIZOWL Lightning 60 — $119.99
  6. Wooting 60HE — $174.99
  7. SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini — $179.99
  8. KBDFans Takka60 — $199.99
  9. Sikakeyb Castle HM66 — $230
  10. KBDFans HOLY60 — $279.99

I wouldn’t go with the cheap Redragon keebs because of the software. Wooting 60HE is the winner here, but I’m now testing the Akko 3061S HEand it’s quite interesting. DrunkDeer is ofcourse great for a budget too.

HM66 has latency under 1ms which is better than Wooting but it’s expensive.

What do I recommend (as a Valorant casual player)

  • Boog75, Akko MOD007v3 HE, A75 Pro or Melgeek Cyber01 for 75% — lots of great keyboards in this layout
  • Wooting 60HE for 60%
  • Drunkdeer A75 Pro on budget
  • Meletrix BOOG75 for a premium alternative to Wooting (feels super nice and can’t feel a differenct in latency)
  • Keydous NJ98CP or Wooting Two HE for full sized keyboard layout.
