Taxpayer-funded Zachtronics games

I agree on nearly everything here, all elegantly stated; I’ve completed HRM, and the third of the levels of TIS-100, and a few levels of Shenzen I/O. I wish I had a bit more time to play it.

However, the Zachtronics games are quite difficult and have virtually no hand holding. Throwing kids at these and telling them “now program” would frustrate nearly everyone I suspect. I can see these are part of a larger curriculum.
