Response to “Justin Bieber’s Believe”
“A boy who chased his dreams.”
So you say you have nothing against him and you recommend his movie to everyone? Huh, interesting. Especially considering the fact that Justin Bieber is (let’s be real) an asshole.
Okay so he started out as a little boy who put videos of him singing on Youtube and he was discovered by someone. And I’m sure he started out as a really great person, but it seems as though fame has got the better of him.
Last year while Justin Bieber was on his European Tour he decided to stop by Anne Franks House. He wrote in the guestbook that he hoped “she would have been a belieber.” How self centered and dis respectful can you get. She was a prominent historical figure and he just had to make it all about himself.
Now I know that in the movie he does seem like an amazing person (I watched it myself) who has made mistakes but that’s probably exactly how they wanted to make it. It’s kind of like how everyone says that Youtubers are these amazing people but you only see what they want you to see. People looked up to Alex Day just to find that he sexually assaulted young fans. It’s the same situation. Justin Bieber only wants you to see what makes you believe he’s a good person.
But then things like this happen. He pisses in a restaurant kitchen (disgusting) and says “rape happens for a reason.” Now this one, this one makes me really mad. Rape does not happen for a reason. Rape happens because people are assholes, not because that girl was wearing revealing clothing. Not because by night she was a promiscuous woman who needed money to help her family get by. Not because she didn’t watch her drink carefully enough. I repeat, rape does not happen for a reason you walnut.
There’s a part in that movie where he sings to the little girl who’s terminally ill, cute right? No. He went to a children’s hospital and forced everyone to make way so he didn’t have to stand near the sick children, stayed for 5 minutes and then left as soon as he could. I think this reason why he’s not a good person is pretty self explanatory.
Listen, Pan C. I know you had all good intentions and just wanted to up the rating of his movie, and get people to understand Justin Bieber more, and sure it had good cinematic. But I truly believe that all they’ve done is shown you what they want you to see. Is someone who laughs about the KKK, DUIs and spits on his fans, really someone you want to respect? I hope not.
