Resolutions 2016

All of my social media feeds are flooded with New Year resolutions, so I figured I should take some time to make one or two myself. What do I want to do differently this year? What goals do I have? Are there any habits I want to start today? What 365 day challenge do I want to attempt and fail miserably at this year?

Maybe my mind is still trying to get past the post New Year’s Eve festivities grogginess (otherwise known as a hangover), but I couldn’t think of any particular resolutions. Nothing that seemed incremental or monumental enough to label a “resolution.”

I didn’t make any resolutions at the beginning of 2015 either. I take it as a good sign. I wanted to get out of the mindset that there are certain points in life that are more suited for change than others. I didn’t want to wait for the end of the year to work out more, to be healthier, to start new routines. I wanted to constantly look for ways to improve and better myself. I definitely want to stay on this route going forward.

So instead of resolutions, here is a list of goals and desires I currently have. I’m curious to see how much I will have changed by the end of 2016.

Skydiving, write more, hiking, be a better friend, develop healthier eating habits, discipline, travel, take more pictures, take less pictures, take more risks, do more things that make my heart race, take myself less seriously, find a watch, Birkenstocks, run, wake up early, and more.

WOOHOO 2016 LEGGO!
