I’d like to expand on this a bit with regard to creative writing and storytelling. Fiction or nonfiction, I find that too many writers mistake quality with attention to detail. But I also see this writing get praise from other writers which is all the more confusing.
The same kind of writing that’s fun to write isn’t necessarily fun to read, and it’s good that you touched on that.
