In the Bible, Jesus tells us to take no thought for tomorrow; that the Kingdom of Heaven come in hand. He emphasizes residing in today’s moment, in the eternal Now. He gives us the key element to peace and eternal life. They’re the Heralds of Eternity!

God is pure love, and God really desires to reveal pure love where everything is shared. “In the holy instant God is remembered, and the language of communication with all of your brothers is remembered with Him.” (T-15.VI.8) In the holy instant, we remember God. There’s no concealment, and you can find no private thoughts, no worries or concerns for future years, or regrets regarding the past. It’s an event of perfect peace. This really is what Jesus is calling us into.

We’re asked to release our ideas about time. We might have thought that something was missing previously, and we took action to utilize and correct it, longing for an improved future. But Jesus says, “Don’t expect an improved future a course in miracles podcast. The long run is a trick! Now could possibly be all there is.”

And so we’re now asking ourselves the question, what’s it exactly about? What’s the idea with this particular world and for my relationships? What’s the goal of time and space? Jesus tells us that today’s moment would be the point. Our vocation of healing (of the mind) would be the point.

How Practical Is This?

Jesus and the Holy Spirit have a notion for every single single and everyone of us. It’s very precise, and it’s individualized. In each moment, they instruct us where to go, what direction to go, and who to be with. They instruct us what books to learn, what movies to view, things to consume, and what never to eat. We receive instructions on how best to get our daily bread, with regards to inspiration and also food, clothing, shelter. The Spirit is actually practical. Once we give our mind to living and experiencing the holy instant, the Holy Spirit provides everything we want in Earth terms.

When you can find plans to be produced, i will soon be told of them. “You’ll need take thought for nothing, careless of everything except the only purpose that you’d fulfill.” (T-20.IV.8) In lesson 135, he tells us:

“A healed mind doesn’t plan. It carries out the plans so it receives through hearing wisdom that’s not its own. It waits until it’s been taught what should be performed, and then proceeds to accomplish it. It generally doesn’t depend upon itself for anything except its adequacy to fulfill the plans assigned to it. It’s secure in certainty that obstacles can’t impede its progress to accomplishment of any goal that serves the more plan established for the truly amazing of everyone.” (W-pI.135.11)
