Apple just told the world it has no idea who the Mac is for
Owen Williams

It’s a nice article, Owen. But I think you have overreacted. Have you seen or touched or played with the actual physical new MBP? I think the USB-C port is awesome. It has standardize every cables. Imagine you have USB cable, Thunderbolt cable, and a separate charging port etc. Now, just one. I think 4 ports will be enough. You can Daisy-chain Thunderbolt devices. I don’t think anyone will be taking all their other devices when go on travel. I just take 2 mobile hard drives, some memory sticks and couple of SD cards with me and I don’t plug all of them in at the same time.

The new TaskBar is brilliant idea! Easily accessible and customizable. I can’t really remember what I have configured for my Fn keys even for years and I think TaskBar is going to change that.

Well, MacBook Pro is for power users. I am using a 13" MBA 2012 for development on-the-go and am thinking to upgrade to 15" MBP. But, before I throw my money in, I would check it out in the store, touch it, play with it until I am convinced it is worth the money.

I think Apple has put in lots of consideration in making a fantastic MBP for developers. A power notebook which is light to lug around.

If I were you, I would wait till I had my hands on to the real MBP before writing this article to yelp. I think it’s not fair.
