Nice! I noticed destructuring object doesn’t work without `var` or `let` but I didn’t know opening brace is the culprit.

That said, I think your solution will get old way faster than the parentheses. And considering most of programmers’ editors add a closing parenthesis automatically, it’s less typing than even, say `0, {x, y} = anObject;` or `‘’, {x, y} = anObject;`.

The only problem I see with parentheses is you have to be very careful if you use semicolon-less code style.
