The correct skincare steps can help optimize the effects of product ingredients for skin health and prevent skin problems.

Here are some of the correct skincare steps for dry skin:

1. Facial cleansing soap
Facial cleanser for combination skin: A cleanser that contains moisturizing ingredients and controls oil on the T-zone can help keep combination skin in balance.

2. Toner
Toner for combination skin: A lightweight toner to help soothe and moisturize and hydrate skin such as those with rose water or chamomile, hyaluronic acid and aloe vera extract.

3. Essence
Essence for combination skin: Examples of essence ingredients that can be used include green tea extract.

4. Serum
Serum for combination skin: Examples of serum ingredients include vitamin c, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid.

5. Moisturizer

Moisturizer for combination skin: Examples of moisturizer ingredients include niacinamide to control oil production in the T-zone and moisturize dry cheeks.

6. Sunscreen

Sunscreen for combination skin: Examples of sunscreen ingredients include light, oil-free ingredients that are suitable for balancing oily and dry areas. Another option is niacinamide to control oil in the T-zone and provide hydration for dry cheeks.

The above sequence can be used in the morning. As for the night skincare sequence, start with make up remover, cleanser, and scrub, then continue with toner, serum, eye cream, night cream, and face oil. The important thing to know in going through the morning and night skincare routine is to use products with the lightest to the heaviest texture. For example, use water-based products first, then use oil-based products.

It should also be noted that not everyone is suitable for the order of using skincare above. Because, the correct order of using skincare also needs to be adjusted to the type and needs of your facial skin. Always consult a doctor to get maximum results.
