1. Me too. It took a lot of introspection for me to realise it.
2. This is not my personal view. This has been my impression of how others sometimes view women who are building businesses that will never generate $100M+ in revenue/be unicorns. In VC-funded startups yes ambition = how big your business is or can be.
3. Great suggestions, all of which are underway which means we’re moving in the right direction! We have just taken the Speaker Diversity pledge http://speakerdiversity.com/ but I love your suggestion to write more about this.
4. We run a separate site for our community development work http://thesunrise.co/ and are in the process of updating our main website to do exactly that!
